Yes, it's been a long time coming, but futuristic projections need time to season and to allow for history to validate their present-day relevance. We hope it was worth the wait.

We've had fun looking back in the rear view mirror at our history in the making as we put this profound compilation together in a way that we hope you will enjoy reading as much as we have enjoyed creating it.

“In The Rear View Mirror - A Compilation” is a creative collaboration between DK King (Writer) and KAd Collins (Artist/Intuitive) designed to offer an alternative, yet humorous perspective on everyday life and current events while using the past in the present to project the future down the road.

Presented in a compilation of sixty-two allegorical narratives, “In The Rear View Mirror” entertains the reader with observations that are as relevant today as when they were written in short story blog form in 2008 to 2012. The anecdotes are visionary and futuristic, with messages scattered throughout in the form of double entendres, metaphors and a between-the-lines symbolism. So you might want to pay attention, or even read them again … in case you thought you saw it right the first time.

These short story narratives are ultimately devised to inspire introspection regarding the many dualities we have interwoven within our present reality. And honestly, some of this stuff is just downright comical. Go ahead, laugh all you want as we drive you along the scenic route of our reality while occasionally looking back "In The Rear View Mirror."

A New Beginning: Cosmic High Beams

Well, it’s finally happened! The cosmic frequencies have gone beyond the point of no return. New Earth is here and we’ve leveled up within. This means our vehicle – our means of transportation, and the way we travel through the realms – has upgraded as well.

The hybrid car that once drove us through the polarizing terrains of a 3D past, as parodied in detail throughout “In The Rear View Mirror,” has gone quantum; and we are now traveling into the unknown with new frequencies, experiencing new timelines on Cosmic High Beams.

Our hybrid car wasn’t about to be left behind in the shift as it transformed itself into a cosmic ship, a quantum chariot, or what we have come to call a merkabah. And we now have lift-off. The “Great Awakening” is here, and we intend to offer service with our highest form of expression.

Today that expression is to provide mindful sage assistance to those divinely inspired to work with us in a new kind of intuitive session. A traditional “psychic reading” this is not. We liken it more to an intuitive conversation times three; a potent triad where the energies amp up with intention, activations and insights occur, and shifts happen. We named our new service “Cosmic High Beams” and have described it thus:

“Cosmic High Beams” is a New Earth frequency alliance created by Starseed SiStars, DK King and KAd Collins, to inspire perceptions for new directions and healing support for awakening souls who have chosen to integrate their energy fields. Utilizing ancient starseed wisdom and intuition along with other helpful energy tools, DK + KAd provide a loving environment designed to nurture conscious empowerment within a safe conversational guidance session.

Because we all have different needs at different times, we will be providing a personalized custom approach for each soul seeker and session. While we overstand that each soul is responsible for every experience within its creation, we’ve also come to understand the value of coming together for loving support and intuitive guidance when needed.

Society counsels marry,
That means incorporate.
Articles and by-laws
Once duly created,
Form a household compliant,
And lawfully regulated.
Board meets for nuptials recited
As both in agreement converge.
Separate assets become united
In a co-mingled blend ‘n merge.

So before you speak the words “I do”,
You might want to negotiate
The best deal for you.

Commitment phobes,
More risk adverse,
Commit to share space
Without sharing their purse.
Companionship is rendered
By indie entrepreneurs.
No autonomy’s surrendered,
Shared bennies both procures.
Secerning self preservement
Proves a win-win strategy,
For freelancing contractors
Circumventing legality.

So before you speak the words “I do”,
You might want to explore
The options available to you.

Partners opt in one hundred percent,
Position their investments to grow.
C.F.O. recommendation is buy vs. rent
Before delivering an I.P.O.
Celebration returns every fiscal year end
While hopes and dreams are propagated.
Black bottom line with plenty to spend,
Empty bedrooms soon are populated.
Team players busy multitasking,
Fully booked from morning to night,
Fosters synergistic fast tracking
For unions working the system right.

So before you speak the words “I do”,
You might want to hold in reserve
Something solely for you.

Corporations plan for perpetuity,
Redefining “til death do us part”.
Strategic goal is long term security,
As shown on the pension plan pie chart.
Life cycles forth with its ebb and flow,
Branches form a brand name niche.
Years to lay all those ducks in a row,
Not discounting that seven year itch.
Dissolution optional if shareholders split,
“Happily ever after” seems a fairy tale.
The end of the day finds it difficult to quit
When your business is just too big to fail.

So before you speak the words “I do”,
You might want to ask
Is marriage the right business for you?

The old symphony of catcalls,
And summons the faithless,
Aligned along furtive back walls.
Without allegiance,
Instinctively spraying charmed house.
Marking vain territory
In a stale game of cat and mouse.
Fence sitting wanderers
Performing their slinky sashay,
Yowling to stray,
Forever cheap,
And woefully cliché.

Hungry anticipation,
Rough tongue on lips smack,
Never, ever expecting
To give anything back.
Self centered and serving,
Entitled to a fault,
Forget about foreplay,
The senses assault.
Emotionally lazy,
E’er beguiling tender prey,
Purring “It’s all about me”,
“Get your needs out of my way”.

Leonine traveler
Dreams to be king,
Regally demands
In one pompous ring,
"Hurry, stop dawdling,
Aye, drop everything".
Sheared mane uncovers
Patent patch and sugar drug,
Lays bare the bald wolf crowned
In a crooked sheep’s rug.
Always spying on time,
Busy scurrying like a rat,
Papa is a rolling stone,
And a LAB Rat Alley Cat.

Not a priority,
But convenient after thought.
Beckons at midnight
For an honored one sided talk.
Privileged and blessed,
Nay, holier than thou,
“MAU Me Me MAU”,
Drawls the elitist meow.
Inhaling obsidian air
As cigar fumes float on the waft,
Far too important
To call a common cat back.
Ambiguous, yet
So biased bent,
Overflowing with bitterness,

Even divine discontent.
No one dares ask

Zeitgeist Alley Cat,

Wherever on earth

Might it be at.

Free ranging crude conduct,
Lacking genuine pedigree.
No rewards for bad behavior,
Considering nothing good is free.
Careless roamers still preen on,
Playing every side of the fence.
Duplicitous feline, Mysterious con,
Assuming no consequence.
Gavel drops with heart’s decree,
Suspicious egos birl and balk.
Alley Cats judged clearly unworthy,
Now it’s time to take a walk.
